أى شخص يجرؤ على محاولة عمل يدعي به أنه يساعد في علاج الوساوس ذات الأبعاد الدينية فلقد دخل في حقل ألغام بصنع يديه.. لذلك فأنا أحاول أن أقدم شئ أكثر تواضعًا، أتمنى أن أقدم هيكل واضح لفهم الوساوس والأبعاد الدينية للوسواس القهري، هذا سوف يسمح للمجموعات المتعددة أن تستخدم المبادئ المتاحة لحل المشاكل التي تنشأ من خلال عاداتهم في نفس الوقت فإنه يجب على القارئ أن يعرف أني قدمت الموضوع.
أتمنى أن ينبه هذا الموضوع كلاً من رجال الدين وأخصائي الصحة النفسية إلى فهم ودمج الوسائل النفسية لمرضى الوسواس.
الطبيب النفسي “آلن رجن” درس عدم الاهتمام الموجه لمعتقدات المرضى الدينية من قبل بعض المعالجين، فلقد رأى هذا الطبيب أن المعالجين يجب عليهم أن يهتموا ويتعاطفوا مع المسائل الدينية بنفس الطريقة التي يعالجون بها المسائل العنصرية والجنسية. (فإما أن يقرؤوها ويدرسوها جيدًا أو ينصحوا مريضهم بالتوجه لمرشد روحي معين أو طالب علم أو شيخ مؤهل للرد والتوجيه في مجال المسائل الدينية).
فأنا أعتقد أن تجارب مرضى الوسواس القهري مع المعالجين الدنيويين أثبتت صحة رأى “برجن”.
إن عمل المعالجين السلوكيين في مجال الوسواس القهري ما هو إلا بمثابة نموذج إيجابي للعمل على الأعراض الوسواسية الدينية، فالمعالجين السلوكيين يأخذون أعراض المريض بجدية شديدة سواء كانت مشاعره أو أفكاره أو سلوكه.. فإذا أراد المريض أن يثير عرض ما يجب أن يقدره الطبيب المعالج والمعالج يرى العرض كمشكلة بحد ذاتها وليست كرمز لمشكلة قائمة.. هذه النظرة ساعدت المعالجين السلوكيين على تحديد النماذج التي يمكن أن تساعدنا أن نفهم الوساوس كوحدة واحدة لمرض الوسواس القهري وأن نأخذ الأعراض بجدية حتى لو كان لها محتوى ديني.
