وبعد…
أود أن أقول لك تذكر تلك الحقائق الأساسية:
1.أن الأطفال صعبي المراس هم أطفال طبيعيون:
إنهم لا يعانون من أية مشكلة نفسية أو خلل بالمخ، قد تكون قد سمعت تعليقًا من أحد الأقارب أو الآباء الآخرين “إنه يعاني من مشكلة” وقد تكون أنت نفسك قلقًا من ذلك فدعنا نتفق على شئ.. (انه طفل صعب المراس… انه طفل عنيد) وهذا يختلف عن تعبير (طفل غير طبيعي).

لقد ولدوا بذلك المزاج وليس بسبب خطأ ارتكبه أحد الوالدين، إنه ليس خطأك ولكنه ليس خطأ الطفل أيضًا، فإنه لم يطلب أن يولد هكذا.
3.تربية طفل صعب المراس ليست أمراً سهلاً:
كلما تقبلت تلك الحقيقة أسرع كلما تمكنت من التعامل والتكيف معها.. فلو تقبلته وفهمت تقلبات مزاجه ستتعامل بنجاح أكبر معه وستصبح تنشئته عندها أسهل كثيرًا.
4.ليسوا جميعًا سواء:
إن الصورة تختلف من طفل لآخر تبعًا لمنطقة الصعوبة في مزاجه، فمن طفل لديه بعض المناطق الصعبة إلى طفل شديد الصعوبة وحتى طفل مستحيل في التعامل معه.
5.هؤلاء الأطفال قد يصبحون إيجابيون، متحمسون بل وحتى خلاقون لو تعاملنا معهم جيدًا منذ الطفولة.
